Founded in Nosara, Costa Rica. Series Ninja began as a dedicated provider of tutoring and group classes for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) exam.
As demand grew, we expanded to provide comprehensive support and training for various FINRA securities exams, including the SIE, Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 66.
With more than 10,000 hours of one-on-one tutoring and over 1,000 students successfully prepared for their exams, Series Ninja has become a trusted resource for financial professionals pursuing industry certifications.
Our mission is simple: helping students understand complex financial concepts and pass with confidence.

I've spent more than 20 years in the financial services industry, working as a stockbroker, financial advisor, consultant, trainer, and educator. Before founding Series Ninja, I held positions with firms including Scottrade and TIAA, helping both clients and financial professionals succeed.
I earned my finance degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder and started my professional journey working as an Economic Development Coordinator for the Peace Corps, experiences that provided me with discipline, adaptability, and a global perspective. After years in the industry, I traded the corporate world for a new adventure in Nosara, Costa Rica, where I founded Series Ninja.
With numerous FINRA exams and the prestigious  CFP® designation under his belt, Tim knows firsthand the challenges of balancing intense exam preparation with life's responsibilities. I created Series Ninja to make FINRA and CFP® exam preparation simpler, more engaging, and easier to remember.
